How does feedback work?

At Service Central, a huge reason why people continue to come back to Service Central again and again is that they can always read feedback posted about business's that want to quote on the website. This feedback is loaded by other people in the same situation, and reports what the overall experience was.

Give Service Central, the business concerned, and future customers feedback in the following three ways.

Did the business call?

The first step in the process is to receive phonecalls to either provide a telephonic quote or arrange a time to meet and discuss the job. Customers can note whether the you have called, and also report how quickly you called. They can also give comments that are sent to you via your online portal, and the comments are available online for your future customers to see. If you haven't contacted the customer within the promised 24 hours, they can also send a reminder to you to contact them, as well as check (and soon change!) their contact details online.

Did you send a quote?

The second step is to send quotes (from however many businesses they requested). They can report that they've received your quote and give comments that are sent to you through your online portal and are available online for your future customers to see. If they have not yet received the quote as expected, they can also send a reminder to you to follow up on sending or discussing that quote. Often these quotes are simply sent to the wrong email address, and a quick reminder is a great way to make sure both you and the customer aren't missing out!

Was your quote successful, and how well was the work done?

Once the customer has chosen a business and had the work completed, they can complete the feedback and give your business a star rating, including comments on your workmanship. Both the comments and the star ratings will be available online for your future customers to see.

Star rating calculations are updated overnight.
