The Jobs Board shows all the jobs that are posted on Service Central.

Narrow down your search

  • Click on where you want to find jobs (by state, and then by regional area)
  • Click on the category that you're interested in (browse through all services)

Where you'll find the Open Jobs Board

  • When you log in, by selecting the Open Jobs Board from the Jobs tab
  • When you're logged in, by clicking on "View more opportunities"
  • As a Master Builders members, on the Master Builders website

Which jobs are available to quote on?

Each job has a button showing what the status of the job is ie 'Available Now', 'Notifying Providers' or 'Job Closed'.

  • 'Notifying Providers' means that a referral notification is being sent to premium providers that are registered for that category and region via SMS or Email. You'll be notified of these jobs if you are a premium provider in that region and category. If none of our premium providers are interested in the job, it will move to 'Available Now'.
  • 'Available Now' means that the job opportunity is available for you to accept it. You click on the 'Available Now' button, accept and pay for the referral and the customer is all yours. Every job opportunity with the status 'Available Now' is waiting there for you to take it.
  • 'Job Closed' means that the number of quotes requested by the consumer has been found. This means that you can't access this job and contact the customer.

What other features does the Open Jobs board have?

  • The Jobs Board RSS Feed allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest job information from the Service Central site. This saves you time as you don't need to visit the site constantly, only for the jobs that you're interested in.
  • The Email This To A Friend function has already been very popular in emailing around amusing jobs as well as letting friends know about jobs that they might be interested in doing. We have already had people emailing their business associates appliance repair jobs and fencing jobs that they knew their friends could do.

What about licenses?

Each provider must still be appropriately qualified and insured to take a job. Keeping our quality standards high is of great importance, and so you can't accept a referral that you're not licenced to do! Each time you accept a job, you'll need to confirm you're licensed to do the work.
