How do I edit my job once I've posted it?

There are different things you can do to edit your job online. Here are the tools you can use!

  • Edit contact details. You can change the contact details for the job through your portal, and any businesses that have responded to the job will receive your new contact details.
  • Cancel the job (stop searching button). This will stop sending notifications to our businesses and no new businesses will be able to contact you and quote. 
  • Relist the job. Take a cancelled or completed job and relist it to send it out to providers again. If you need to do this, it's often because you haven't received a response - so when you relist it, make sure you've put a great summary in the description, check the price range and how soon you want it done.
  • Ask for another quote. If you've received all the quotes you requested, you can ask for another quote which will send it to the providers who didn't previously respond, but not to the providers who have already responded.

If the job that you have posted is significantly different to what you are looking for, you should cancel the job and relist it to make sure that you get the best response.

You can also use the 'favourite', 'last resort' or 'blacklist' functions to prevent or ensure that the same providers respond.
