When I adjust the thermostat, the heater does not appear to give off more or less heat. It seems to stay hotter than required; I can't turn the heat down. The timer is also not working, in that when I set the timer to turn the heater off now and back on in a few hours, the heater does not turn off, but remains on. The fan is working fine, including with the timer. It's just the pilot light and flame part giving me trouble.
