I have a vulcan compact 60 - a few month ago it developed a noise. when we opened it up it turned out to be main fan is scraping the metal wall assembly due to warn out rubber holders so it is on a tilt. we have put a support under the fan to keep it straight but obviously we want this to be fixed. heater works well, but is a bit loud since the support holding up the fan is touching the heaters body frame and fan vibrartions add a lot of noise.
