The Honeywell control panel not working on a Brivis ducted heating

I changed the old batteries and replaced them with two new ones. No temperature was displayed. The battereis looked rusty and leaky when I opened the device after a short while. Then I used two powerful AA used batteries. The temperature was displayed. It was turning on and off correctly when I pressed the off button. The heat came out. The heater worked until the next morning when I pressed the off button. Later, when I pressed the off button to turn the heater on again it stopped working. The temperature displayed for a very short time but the whole thing stopped completely and the heater is not working now. I checked the batteries. They were flat.
The heater next to the man hole on the roof is Brivis but the control panel is Honeywell as shown on the photos.
Also, two ducts didn't give any heat out. And two ducts would not close even when I used force to close them. There are 7 ducts or outlets in total.
