Service for Brivis 92 downflow

I didn't find this business user friendly, the receptionists are focused on booking a call-out fee and unable to assist with approx total cost; even after one of them went to ask the plumbing supervisor, 'how long would it take for a gas heater standard service?' Now I'd expect a standard fee for a standard service, but not in this case: the answer was a vague 1-2 hrs, which roughly translates to $230-$350 inclusive of the call out fee, add the cost of any spare parts, which you won't know until after the technician comes, you could be half way to buying a new unit altogether. I know it's hard to accurately quote on a job before the technician actually sees the unit/problem, but it's not unreasonable to expect more helpful and focused diagnosis when given the symptoms as they deal with such problems every day and they could be more helpful with their troubleshooting rather than chasing the call-out fee. After all there's not many options when a gas central heater fails to light, and it's not unreasonable to expect a ball park figure for the best and worst case scenarios regarding costs. At the end of the day, the problem was the tenant, who didn't know how to relight the pilot properly.
