Our in built-in fireplace gas heater can be difficult to ignite at times. but only recently when it is operating the heater has a flame and burns/heats for about 5 to 10 minutes then goes out. it will reignite straight away but again it will go out after 5 to 10 minutes of heating. it seems that it is either a gas flow issue or the regulator (and ignitor) needs a service or replacement. the heater is connected to the gas mains.
