We have a vulcan gasglo external model 3892 (attached picture of plate).
Last week one morning when we flicked the thermostat on, it didn't do anything. When we pressed the reset button at the external unit for 5 seconds and then switched on the thermostat again, it fired up and blew air through the vents for about half a minute before dying out.
After a couple minutes it fired up again and runs for a few minutes but it dies out again and that's that.
After we do the reset (holding down the 5 button for 5 seconds) the led flashed 5 times (I think that signals fault number 5 - "flame detect")?
Would like to know if have experience fixing this make and model with this problem and what an estimated cost would be to fix.
We are based in Ringwood.
