I recently moved to a new house which installed an old Braemar heating system E22-367 approx. 25 years old. Issue: the pilot light won't stay lit
I follow the instruction to turn the unit on - I hold the button down for a minute or so to let the thermocouple become hot enough to send the signal to the valve that the flame is present (The thermocouple tip is immersed in the pilot flame)). But the pilot light won't stay lit and blows out once the knob is released to the point at which it will turn to the ON position.
I got a new thermocouple and replaced the old one, the pilot light still won’t stay lit though.
