Old Lennox ducted heating unit, housed outside. At least 25 years old. Heating had been used for a few days then when we went to switch it on the other day, the "heat" came on in the form of the gas but the fan did not kick in.
My brother, an electrician, checked it out and said that it made a clanging noise and then buzzed but motor refuses to switch on. Power cord was plugged into another source and still did not work.
I am needing someone to quote me replacement cost and service at a reasonable cost. The unit is a Lennox GIID2.
