I have a 2001 Brivis Buffalo 15. Lately it won't start and the red light in the unit flashes 6 times in succession. If I turn off the power at the wall and wait 30 seconds and turn it back on it... If I turn off the power at the wall and wait 30 seconds and turn it back on it works fine for a day or two and the problems repeats. Unit is at front of house on ground floor.

A plumber looked at it and said LED flashes 3 times on ignition and the old thermostat needs replacing I called Brivis who said to reset at the power this hasn't solved the problem so I changed the old mercury thermostat to a honeywell RTH221B. unit fires up (so wiring is OK) but still goes out after 10-15mins again. I've also cleaned the return air grille and will check the ducts any help/advice before booking service much appreciated

I have a vulcan bonair - comfort control central heating system that needs servicing. product no. 5310082 serial no. 00160826 the heater comes on for a few seconds then switches off for long time, then it comes on again for a very short time and again switches off for very long time, so on so forth. it's more off than on. i go thru the re-setting process, but it doesn't make any difference, sometimes it comes on and at other times doesn't. what should i do? please advise. if this is not the correct department to contact, could you please advise who i should contact. thanks and kind regards
