Central heating not working well.

Central heating on two honeywell thermostats. Heating to the bedrooms doens't work at all. Sometimes heat/cooling will go to one room, most often no response in any room. Heating to main rooms wouldn't turn off. Even with thermostat removed from the wall. it also at times appears to run an automatic program without being asked to do so and with no rhyme nor reason. Will turn itself off consistently, and run the fans at regular times some days and not others.
