Central heating auto fan does not work

I have a Brivis 120 Wombat Central Heating unit located in my roof cavity of the house.
House is 2 story.
Although the fan does work, the auto fan function does not. When the heater is activated from the control switch the fan does not come on.
The second problem is the auto pilot relighter does not work & has not worked for at least10 yrs. This should be fixed as well.
The heater is 20 yrs old & had a major overhaul in 2004.
Brivis cannot send anyone until 21 May 09 and they are expensive.
What can someone offer?
