Brivis central heater - pilot light ignition trouble

When the pilot light on the brivis unit attempts to light it makes a loud clicking sound & then when it does ignite there is a huge bang (which sounds like the roof is going to explode!) i have been told that this is a common problem & is easily fixed with the pilot being moved? would like to get this fixed.
