Despite them being told that some ceiling heating ducts worked very well however some rooms minimal flow, the repairman arrived without sufficient duct tape. He went into the ceiling space and fixed one area but did not check the rest of the ducts or outlets. When I insisted that we check the flow before he leaves, we found the problem still not corrected. He went back into the ceiling to have another look and found more areas where the ducts had become disconnected. He then said he had to go and buy more duct tape and I was going to be charged extra for the time he was away if it went over the standard time. I do not have any control over traffic issues or if he gets talking to a mate or decides to stop for a coffee while he gets an item that he should have come prepared with. Duct tape to fix heating ducts should be a standard item and does not take up much room. I protested at this. The next day, I rang the company manager to discuss this with him but he was not apologetic or understanding at all and just defended the tradesman. The problem would not have even been fixed if I had not insisted we check it before he left. Small problems but discussion not handled well by manager. Will not use again.
