Replace the rubber/plastic caps on shower screen

Kevin requested 3 quotes from Handymen in Burwood

I have a slidng door shower screen about 40 years old. The little rubber caps that allow panel one to pull panel two across to close the screen are worn (or the screens do not move freely) and hence the screens do not both close unless done separately by hand.

The handyman came to tender for the task precisely when he said he would. He went away to find parts needed to complete the job and kept me informed of progress. It proved difficult to find parts for a shower screen as old as mine and of the form of mine. We had several discussions and it was decided that the only realistic option was for me to contact a specialist company. It was refreshing to deal with someone who was committed to getting the job done correctly and with the right equipment even though it meant that he had to miss out. I found him to be knowledgeable, sensible and friendly. I would hire him for other more general jobs.
