Repair a cracked Acrylic Shower Base
Deborah requested 2 quotes from Handymen in Burpengary
Acrylic shower base has a crack that leaks water. Crack is the result of an air pocket underneath the shower recess close to the drain outlet. We need the crack repaired and the air pocket filled (with grout/cement).
Please let us know if this is possible (we've been told by a Bunnings staff member (ex-plumber) that it is possible. (Cut out plastic around the crack, fill with cement, and plastic weld a piece back in. If this or anyother way will work, please let us know.)
We want to avoid replacing the base if possible.
