Ok, Mr. Whiting, let me jog "your memory" a bit and note that I have a complete email trail to prove what I say below. Here's the timeline of events and I will leave this for everyone to decide who was inconsiderate, rude and threatening: 1) 30 August - Job listed clearly stating that the job needed to be done in 1 month's time and I was only budgeting at that point and was not ready to hire. I admit there was a delay in contacting you because I did not own the property by then. It definitely did not cause you any inconvenience considering you were and still are "very busy" with other work. 2) 20 September - I finally bought the property and called you to discuss the job. You asked me to talk to Service Central to re-list the job if I wanted you to accept the job. I relisted the job "because you asked me to relist on the phone". Saying that you accepted the relisted job without knowing who it was is completely false. 3) 22 September - I emailed you the details of the job and you said you couldn't provide an estimate without looking at the property. I then asked you for a day that suited you and you said you could view the property on Sunday, 26 September at 4 PM. 4) 24 september - I fixed an appointment with the occupants of the property for 26 September and being a Sunday, I had to plead with them for the appointment. I emailed you again to confirm. 5) 26 September - On the day of the appointment, I sent you an SMS in the afternoon as a reminder for our appointment. Only after I had sent the SMS did you call me to say that you were too tired and were not in a position to view the property. You cancelled the appointment without giving any consideration to the fact that it was a weekend and two sets of people were waiting for you to be there. Despite this, I said nothing to you over the phone and simply asked you when you could view it again. You said it would have to be the next weekend and you will reconfirm. 6) 28 September - Since I did not receive any communication from you for the next appointment, I sent you another email to confirm what day suited you. 7) 29 September - Still no response from you so I send a reminder using a facility provided by Service Central. You say "I went behind your back" to send you a reminder through Service Central and I was being pushy. I fail to see how this is "going behind your back". How is it different from sending you a direct SMS? Or is receiving an SMS from the website you work with somehow insulting? Anyway, again no response throughout the day and I assume that you perhaps you are not checking your mobile so I sent you an email in the evening. 8) 30 September - You email me saying "Hi Jai, due to heavy work committments I will be unable to inspect your property now. Regards Ivan". This is all your email said. 9) 30 September - I reply with "Thanks for letting me know. Would you be able to do the work around 19 October or you are busy at that time as well? You can inspect next week if that suits. Let me know either way.". I did not receive any reply from you to this email. 10) 7 October - Obviously disappointed with not having a response despite you showing that you were interested in the job, I left a feedback which I have every right to do. Surprisingly, this time you found the time in your busy schedule to call me within the hour to berate me saying I was accusing you falsely and the delays were somehow my fault, I was pushy and you were going to get my feedback retracted! You also said you had recordings of all the conversations on your office phone. I am not sure what were you planning to use those recordings for? I find this attitude threatening and extremely rude. You have chosen to sell your trade on the internet and seek feedback. When the feedback is not to your liking, I am assuming you do the same with all consumers to make sure your profile remains pristine. Beware anyone who wants to leave a less then glowing feedback for IVAN.
