Re-do leaking upstairs shower base
Rob requested 3 quotes from Handymen in Malvern East
Upstairs shower recess has persistent leak through shower base. Attempt to "seal" existing base / tiling has not helped. Require shower base replacement, preferably using existing or matched tiles (I have some matching tiles, prob. not enough). Existing base has incorrect fall to waste (actually, *not* to the waste - hence the problem) so needs re-doing. May need reinforcement of water-damaged beams / flooring?, but I hope and think not. Will then need downstairs ceiling plaster repaired & painted, probably as a separate job.
