We are looking at doing a simple downstairs renovation to make an unusable 2m high space livable. There is an existing slab and the area is mostly covered in, we just need some simple additions done as quickly as possible. It will be a cash job.
Screed/ concrete finish to seal and level existing concrete slab
• Finish/ replace (as needed) existing timber wall linings to seal in open areas
• Close in a lattice wall area around hot water heater with bessa blocks (or similar exterior
product) as per existing
• Install aluminium glass windows to close in wire/lattice spaces
• install laminate floor linings
• install dividing walls to make laundry space, study space, gym space
• Consider options for internal walls and ceiling to be plasterboard lined or similar if at all
possible
