We want to replace the all in one door handle and lock unit (gainsborough thing) with a lockwood 001 and separate door handle (both already purchased).
Happy for new mounting location but original handle holes leff by redundant gainsborough unit need to be filled or covered (stainless steel plate, wood dowel or similar?) front and back of door.
