I was in the process of repainting my apartment over the weekend and decided to "do it properly" and peel off the cracked layers of paint in the kitchen. This has resulted in me getting down to the bare plaster on the wall and ceiling and also revealing a hole in the ceiling (it's approximately 25 x 15 cm at the moment but more is likely to collapse).
So, I now need to either have the ceiling re-plastered or I was thinking I could get a gyprock ceiling installed over the top what is currently there. Depending on what's cheapest. Room is approximately 4 x 4 m.
