The current rangehood is broken and needs to be replaced. I have taken the broken one off. Both the new and old are 90cm. The old one had a smaller backside so it was sitting on a board. The new one is bigger at the back so it cannot fit into the current board. It need the board to be cut and also moved up in the cabinet. No electircal work required. Most probably a handyman or a cabinet person should be able to fix this easily.
