I need a metal base to support a silver birth tree trunk.

I have a silver birch treen trunk which i would like to use to hang a light fitting off indoors.

- the light fitting is quite heavy so i am thinking a metal base woulkd be good to support the weight.

- i am thinking either a flat square or round shape with a spoke in teh middle. the tree trunk will need to be drilled with a whole so it can slot over the spike.
