Bathroom floods/walk in shower, tiled step created to keep water in shower

Due to the poor design of our walk in shower the water does not drain properly and floods the bathroom as the water catchment area is not on a big enough slope. i would like to have a step up tiled area that will contain the water from the shower and send it in the right direction.
