Jonathan requested 3 quotes from Glaziers in Hughesdale
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment unit. I have 2 bedroom windows, 1 balcony door and a small window in the living room that I plan to install a double glaze windows on. The existing windows/door will stay so the new panel has to be installed on the outside (there isn't much room to install the new panel on the inside). There is approx 17cm gap between existing window and the exterior wall, enough space for the new window installation.
Approximate measurement as follow:
Bedroom 1:
Height: 181cm, Width: 146cm, Window opening panel (119cmx71cm) slide open from right to left.
Bedroom 2:
H: 183cm, W: 183cm. 2 small window opening at the top (reclining type): 40cm x 90cm each side.
Balcony doors:
H: 210cm, W: 272cm. Middle door opening panel (slide from right to left): 210cm x 90cm.
Small window in the living room:
H: 60cm, W: 181cm. No opening on this window.
According to the council, there would be no problem with installing double glaze window but would be safe to verify this again officially when the job is confirmed.
Thanks.
