Replace putty in timber windows
Justin requested 2 quotes from Glaziers in Port Melbourne
I have a timber window at the front of the house on the ground floor. There is 14 panes of glass in total. The putty is 70 years old.. I have removed some of it and some remains. The glass can stay, so I just need the putty restored.
I dont know whether or not all existing putty needs to be removed first. It is very hard and you would risk cracking the glass. Am open to opinions. Please feel free to enter the front yard and have a look to quote. Dependent on price and how good the result is, I may do the 2 other windows on the second level as well.
