Existing floorboards need sanding , staining ?and polishing. Guidance is required on whether certain areas can be "made good" with regard to existing stains / watermarks.
We have removed carpets from bedrooms and tiles on cement sheeting from living , dining , bedrooms and passageways. Existing 65mm floorboards had been originally stained and polished probably since originally built in 1974.
Bedroom floors which were carpeted appear to just require polishing up and new top coat due to some bubbling of existing lacquer.
