We have approximately 40 square metres of parquetry flooring sitting atop existing timber flooring but we are unsure of quality of existing flooring. We have a small extension that has new Blue Gum timber floor.
We can strip parquetry flooring ourselves and then have two options for a tradey:
1) Sand, Varnish and make good existing flooring.
2) Lay Blue Gum on top of existing flooring, Varnish, and make good to match extension flooring.
