The job on my 112 yo house has three components:
1) Two sections of 150mm tongue and grooved Baltic Pine flooring of approx 3 Lm needs replacement - I have the new timber.
2) Construct a manhole in the timber foor.
3) The front verandah is approx 8m2, and the pine flooring needs to be sanded-back and oiled.
Note: So far I've contacted 14 tradespeople (8 carpenters, 6 floor-sanders) mostly from the local papers. 9 weren't interested, 1 quoted over the phone, 3 promised to quote but never turned-up, and 1 turned-up, quoted, promised to start, and canceled 3 times!
