I have spotted gum floating floorboards (installed by Carpet Solutions in Alexandria several years ago) and two boards have popped up in the middle of the room. They are not bowed - it just appears that there was not quite enough room and the boards at the side of the room should have been cut down.
I need a "quick fix". Carpet Solutions have suggested cutting the boards down and installing a cork strip, which is fine by me - but unfortunately they're installers are not available until next year. I need to get this done ASAP and get a tenant in before Christmas.
