I dont know whether to blame Service Central for not performing checks on the businesses listed or the company I engaged Holistic Flooring, Holistic Cleaning, Holistic Global or the various names this business trades under I assumed they are a professional business, however nothing could be further from the truth. Several weeks after engaging them to polish my staircase, we are still waiting for it to be finished. The company engagaged a unqualified painter to perform the works, which I questioned from the outset, providing no supervision, the painter sanded the staircase, stained and polished, although numerous requests I made to holistic's Managing director to have someone inspect the works went unanswered, with a response that we would inspect on completion. During the works I advised numerous times that I was unsatisfied with the level of workmanship. Very basic sanding and staining techniques were not used, nor did the company have any of the correct machinery to perform the task, asking us to provide sandpaper, vacuum cleaner, masking tape, ladders and the like. To top it all off our tiles were left stained, walls and carpets completely covered in dust and paint marks over our walls. The company eventually inspected the works and advised the works were of poor quality and would have it rectified, since then 3 additional tradespeople have entered my house over 3 weeks as the company seem to be shopping around for the cheapest person to perform the works. Although the company promises to rectify, I have been left with a mess in the front foyer of my house for weeks, dust everywhere and no clear sign of if and even when it may be completed properly. I will be attaching photos of the works if this is possible soon.
