We are installing a kitchen in late January in a space that has wooden floors, installed about 20yrs ago. I want the floor resealed to ensure that it is water resistant. I would like to use a water based polyurethane. The floor is a bit scratched but I dont want it sanded back to wood. I dont know what the original coating was. I need the job done early to mid January to leave it time to harden before kitchen installation
