Hi I have an Old Qlder with original wide pine floor boards upstairs 3 bedrooms & lounge 120 SQM & 2 bedrooms dining, kitchen, entry. 90SQM of secrete nailed hardwood down stairs. There are also 14 stairs treads, risers & stringers with a 2 SQM platform in the middle in good condition. There are 2 decks that were originally coated with Sikens the back lower level is 80 Sqm and the front is 20 sqm also lower level. both are in average condition but I want to sand back and put new coats on. All flooring, stairs & decks were sanded and coated 12 years ago when the reno was done. The coatings are a Low gloss and are fairly worn. I would like to sand and polish to a semi gloss finish. Could you please quote on a Semi Gloss finish in water base & Solvent Base for the internal floors and stairs. I would like the price for the sand & polish of the flooring separate to the stairs and the decks. Please also provide the product name you are quoting on for the floor coatings and any info as to why we should pick one or the other. We are in two minds on which way to go with the coatings so the more info you can provide would be helpful. The deck can be with Ultra deck or Sikens but it must be a clear finish. It will not be possible to go to site for a measure up I need the work started on or after 11th of August & completed by 24th to move in on. We are currently out of the country and will be hard to contact if not impossible to contact via phone until early August.
