My wife and i moved into our home a short while ago and are now pricing up how much it would cost to sand back and polish the floorboards vs. doing it ourselves.
It is a 3 bedroom house, approx 106 sqm. The 2 main bedrooms won't be done as we're going to have carpet. The rest of the house will be, approx 75sqm.
There is currently carpet laid. I have had a look at the floorboards underneath and they appear to be in good condition.
Could you please give me an approx cost to do our floorboards. Note, i'll remove the carpet and staples/nails before the work commences.
