Just bought a unit which has herringbone floorboards in every room. 2 areas are damaged (the wood is a lot darker) probably due to repetitive friction by a couch or table.
i would like to understand my options from complete sanding & polishing on the whole floorboards in the kitchen and living room (approx 35 sq meters) or simply working on the areas damaged.
