We just moved into a house and would like to get the floors sanded and polished. The floor is currently carpeted and the house is very old (~100 years).
The job is for three bedrooms, a corridor, and a living room. The total is about 70 square meters, all on one level.
I've pulled back the carpet in a couple of places and the boards are very dark. I'm guessing it's Baltic Pine with Black Japan on it. But I don't know, that's just a guess.
