We are in the process of buying a house (approx 5 weeks until completion) and we would like to have wooden flooring. we have been told by the building inspector that the existing floorboards are suitable for sanding and staining/finishing. the flooring is currently a mixture of carpet and laminate. it is a 3 bed house, with lounge, sunroom, kitchen and study. we would like to get the floors done straight away after completion before we move in as this will make life easier with not having to move an furniture out. the property is empty. i would like for someone to come and have a look, advise us of the best way forward and supply a free quote on the work. we can make an appointment to gain access to the property with 2-3 days notice. we would need to use a company that is insured and can offer guarantees on their work. we would like to view a similar recent job if possible? thanks
