The property has a pool which is strictly regulated by Moreland Council given its location. At the moment we have a wooden fence on three sides with gate. To increase height we have added a lattice (about three feet) and plant climbers. Whole thing needs an overhaul. The height must remain as it is now. Timber and metal fence options considered. Timber is fine - would like to loose the lattice and climbing plants - replace with one tall fence with same height on all three sides which slopes with the road where necessary but keeps the same height. Best to see what we have now by driving along Pascoe Vale Road! At least two/three quotes required to be taken for approval to the Council offices so please share ideas and plans. One option is to have a picket fence with cement sheet backing painted to house colour? Metal Brunswick green fence might also work - it must look neat and prevent kids from jumping over it! Share ideas - I am stuck and I know the whole thing is going to fall apart within 1 year!!!
