Demolition/Removal of existing timber gate & timber frame structure. Place removed gate & old timber side posts neatly to one side for disposal by property owner.
Supply (including fabrication) & installation of new steel framed double gates, including supply & fixing of gate posts. Gate framing to be 25x25x1.6mm galvanised steel tubing. All welds in gate framing to be cold galvanised treated. Gates to be clad/neatly fixed with 0.48mm or 0.6mm Colorbond or other similar/suitable pre-finished metal cladding on the Street side of gates.
Gates need to fit neatly (with minimal gaps) between existing house & side boundary (approximately 2600mm wide) & gates need to be approximately 1800 - 2100mm in height.
Supply & install new gate posts, in 75x75x3.0mm Galvanized (ie Duragal) Square Hollow section, or suitable alternative. Gate posts to be embedded into ground (at least 500mm) & concreted in. Open tops of gate posts to be capped with matching end caps.
gates also need to latch and be lockable from the Street side.
Non-active gate leaf to have a bottom bolt fixed to ground.
