I have two wooden gate posts which need to be replaced. Each post supports a metal framed gate measuring approx. 1.5m by 1.5m - each frame has timber palings attached, so each gate is heavy. Posts are approx. 125mm by 125mm - 1.76m is exposed and I assume that each is 600 mm deep into the ground, I am happy to be responsible for the decorative knob on top of each.
I can provide photographs hoping these will assist your estimation process and possibly save you a trip.
If you are comfortable supplying a quote (subject to site inspection / check measure) by email, I would be OK with it. I would like the actual job to commence as soon as possible..
