Three tasks: 1) install plinth boards (11m, H4 sleepers approx 200x75) for a fence (previous boards rotted due to neighbour's soil). It is a boundary fence and neighbour has given permission to access for installation. 2) on same fence replace palings with holes etc where neighbour's weeds come through. 3) add blocking into existing fence (different to task 1 and 2 fence) approx 6m wide to support installation of paling to 2m height (current fence is only 1.57m high, with view into neighbour's kitchen).

I liked Jason's problem solving approach, which was needed on this job due to the poor condition of the timber paling fence being repaired. Nemo called me straight away, which was terrific, asking for more details. I provided detailed information via email. I didn't hear back, but Nemo explained later on that his work partner was sick, so he couldn't do the job. This might have been just as well, because the job was more suited to a fencer rather than home maintenance. Nemo has good reviews in Service Central and I would certainly consider using him for home maintenance work in future. His quick response and past reviews are a good sign.

I received the automated email from Service Central they would make contact, but I received no email or telephone call (including no missed calls). The other companies responded, by contrast, straight away after they accepted the job in Service Central. I later got an email from Service Central that there was a quote I declined, but this is incorrect. I was never contacted and therefore was never aware of any quote.
