We need to replace the fencing between the properties our and our neighbours' property in Rye.
The properties are about 40 meters long. With one lying higher than the other, a retainer wall will be required with the height varying along the boundary between ½ m and 1 m. At this stage we are envisaging the retainer walls to be constructed using sleepers. On top of the sleepers it is intended to have a wire fence of another approximately 1 m height. The site is easily accessible from one of the properties.
Whilst we are happy to manage the interface with the contractor, the project will be owned by both families.
We would finally encourage you to provide us with quotations for alternative solutions if you believe that they would be more cost effective.
