Single Downlight installation

Currently in the lounge/dining there are 8 downlights on 2 circuits. One has 2 lights and the other has 6.
Install a new single downlight and transformer (which I already have) onto the circuit which currently has 2 downlights on it for a total of 3.
Disconnect a downlight from the 6 downlight circuit and reconnect onto the (now) 3 downlight circuit so there will be a total of 4 downlights on this circuit and 5 on the other.
