Replace a double element in existing brandt ceramic cooktop

i have a brandt cooktop. the double zone element needs replacing.
i need an electrician to quote me the price to replace the elements the inner ring is 12.5 cm and the large one from the outside is 22 cm.
i've called around and have been told to look at paying about $350.00 to have it fixed. which is just a bit less than half the price of a new cooktop.
if that is the case then can you quote the price of replacing the ceramic cooktop once i've purchased a new one.
