I live in ground floor apt. I have a provider for NBN but their technician can only run cable along the walls, I want someone to run it through the walls and also provide a powerpoint nearby, if not one already. I need someone who knows what they are doing, for example is it a problem if it is located in a cupboard, does that effect the signal? Also providers tech talked about an electrician 'dropping a line'? So can someone else provide the fibre optic cable and then my technician comes back and connects the cable and installs the box and modum?
