We have a Parex rangehood whose lights and fan don't work. An electrician came and inspected it and said the Parex unit (up behind the buttons) probably needs to be replaced, as there was power going to the rangehood and the lights and fan probably work fine.
So probably just a motor or unit that needs replacing
