New power point to be installed

I require a new power point to be installed on an existing old power point position. My father has advise me the wiring on this old power point is old wiring and needs to be replaced. I will require new wiring from the power point to the wiring in the roof.
The distance from the power point to the ceiling is approximately 2.8m. My house is double brick and there is a man hole in the roof. The old powerpoint will be replaced by a new power point which I have purchased, so no need to quote for the power point hardware.
Please advise the cost to do this work.
