A number of years ago we had a new house built in Yarra Glen. Unfortunately we have just been advised by Council that an occupancy certificate was never issued to the builder. One of the outstanding issues is provision of the electrical compliance certificate. Unfortunately the builder we used has changed hands and is now unable to provide us with the compliance certificate that was issued at the time (or even the name of the electrician that did the work). We need someone to come out and inspect the work and provide a certificate of compliance. Of course if any work needs doing before the compliance certificate can be issued we need that doing as well.

In our hallway we have a surface mount switchboard on a plaster wall. it houses all of the circuit breakers and the safety switch for the house but not the mains switch (which is outside in the meter box). we'd like it replaced with a flush mount switchboard (as available from clipsal) in the same location with the same breakers and safety switch. . we just need an electrician to pull out the old board and install the new one.
